There have been some particularly disturbing developments reported as of late. (As if the current state of affairs isn’t troubling enough.) The REAL masters of this world, big business and the international banking cartel, are making their move to take it ALL, thus ensuring slavery of the masses. Their grand scheme of a New World Order is emerging from the shadows. While the willfully ignorant masses are clamoring over Democrat versus Republican and  ‘hope’ and ‘change’, the money masters are quite literally ‘banking’ on the ignorance of the masses.

The developments I spoke of in the the first paragraph, are as follows. (The blue texts are links to more information.)

• A further consolidation of power in the European Union by uniting the 27 countries under a single president. The leading candidate? The ‘War on Terror’ co-conspirator, Tony Blair.
• The recent gathering of the G-20 has promised an “emerging new world order”, with un-constitutional tax payers money being funneled into the International Monetary Fund.
• The current White House administration, on behalf of the money masters, is seizing control of the banks and private industry. Obama is REFUSING repayment of the bail-out funds, known as TARP. (Which came from our taxes, by the way).

If these few items combined with the everything else going on in the world today, are not enough to convince the most dedicated unbeliever that the beginning of the end is upon us, the only left to do is pray and spread the message of God’s mercy.

For those that will accept the free gift of salvation, this world holds no fear. “I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”-Psalm 34:4.

All you have to do is be sincere, and ask. That’s all there is to it. There is no special formula, but if you are at a loss for what to say, here an example:

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen.

Then it is your duty to remain vigilant, and spread the word of God’s gift of salvation and freedom from fear, to others.

6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

The AP reports that, “Health and Human Services nominee Kathleen Sebelius recently corrected three years of tax returns and paid more than $7,000 in back taxes after finding “unintentional errors”—the latest tax troubles for an Obama administration nominee.”

“Several Obama administration nominees have run into tax troubles, notably the president’s first nominee for HHS secretary, former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle. He withdrew from consideration while apologizing for failing to pay $140,000 in taxes and interest.”

These are the non-representing representatives that are entrusted with our tax dollars? The outrage is compounded by the frenzied spending spree into bankruptcy misnamed, “stimulus” by this administration. Make no mistake; previous administrations have pushed us to the brink. It seems this one will push us over the edge.

Attend a Tax Payer Revolt/Tea Party this month to show these people that they are not above the law and that we tired of the abuse! Find one in your state, here.

We are all aware of the decline of personal prosperity in these toughest of economic times, and there are no immediate indications that things are going to get better anytime soon. There is no guarantee that there will always be food in the grocery stores. There is no guarantee that there will always be electrical power to light and heat our homes. There is no longer any guarantee that we will even be able to move freely in the event that martial law is declared.

Let us hope that these things do not come to pass, but the likelihood of a real nation-wide crisis is increasing daily. For those of us that live in a climate that has a proclivity for snow in the winter months, we’ve seen the strange phenomenon that when the slightest inkling of snow is impending, the store shelves are emptied of bread and milk in record time. Remember a few years ago the rolling blackouts in New York? In minutes, people spilled out of their homes into the streets. Chaos ensued.

I don’t know about you, but in the event a ‘panic’, the last place I want to be is in the middle of a mob! Stay home, lock your doors, and load your guns! At the very least, you’ll have the confidence that you and your family are prepared! It’s the ones that casually dismiss the idea of preparedness, that will suffer the most through their complacency.

Here is a brief list of ideas that I hope you’ll consider.

• A firearm & ammunition. Useful for protection and hunting small game. If nothing else, a rifle in .22 caliber. They are inexpensive and ammunition is plentiful and cheap. (If things really get bad, you can use the ammo to barter with)
• Food. Stockpile a quantity of dry and canned goods. Flour, rice, beans, and pasta are excellent choices. Any canned product is good, as well. Watch for sales. Even if you don’t need something immediately, buy a quantity for storage.
• Water. You won’t live long without clean water. Absolutely essential. Save, rinse, and fill empty 2 liter soda bottles and milk jugs. Don’t skimp on water as you’ll need it to drink, wash, and cook.
• Generator & fuel. A 5000w generator can be purchased for approximately 500-700 dollars. That will run your refrigerator, well pump, and lighting to a few rooms. A five gallon gas can or two, filled with fuel should be stored as well. At the least, you have an emergency gasoline supply for your vehicle.
• Bug-out Kit. A ‘bug-out’ kit is a back pack or duffel bag packed with essentials that can be carried with you in the event you have to ‘get out of Dodge’ immediately. Inside should be a couple of changes of clothing that are weather appropriate, a small first-aid kit, three days supply of food and water, a blanket, flashlight, and a battery powered radio. Add items that you feel appropriate, but remember you are going to be mobile, so you don’t want to be over-burdened.
• Gardening. Planting season is upon is! For some sweat equity and a very modest cash output, you can enjoy fresh food all season long! If you’re like me, you’re  going to grow as much as you possibly can and preserve what I don’t immediately eat. Do a google on ‘canning vegetables’ for more info.

This list is by no means comprehensive, but is meant to give you a head-start and to provoke thought on how you can best prepare for potentially, ‘bad times’.

The man who created two phenomenally successful “We The People” YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now – or perhaps lose it forever – reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.

Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the “Common Sense” pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.

Basso, whose website offers his services as a motivational speaker, uses the YouTube presentations to condemn “non-representing representatives” and warns, “Only when they feel the almighty wrath of ‘We The People’ marching in the streets from California to New York shouting ‘We’re mad as hell and we want our country back’ will they get the message they work for you.”

He was scheduled this week to appear on the “Jerry Doyle Show” when he told the radio host that Obama had personally invited him to meet in the White House “to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos.”

According to a spokesman for Doyle’s show, at the time when Basso was supposed to be calling in for the show, he was unavailable. Basso reached the show several hours later, explaining he had been flooded by media calls and literally was unable to call out.

The result, the spokesman said, was that Basso promised to provide Doyle with the first exclusive interview after he meets with Obama, provided the invitation still stands after the meeting was leaked to the press.

The spokesman said information about the meeting has not been made public, and show producers are waiting to see what develops. A WND message left for Basso was not immediately returned.

The Doyle show reaches about 3 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, and is the fastest growing show in Talk Radio Network Enterprises’ history with more than 240 stations.

In his second video, which has been seen more than 1.1 million times, Basso challenges people to let Congress know their displeasure by sending tea bags. It is embedded here:

He criticizes Congress for approving the “largest spending bill in history without reading it” and criticizes American citizens, because “you did nothing.”

He raises the issue of billions of dollars for benefits for illegal aliens, the exportation of U.S. jobs overseas and others.

“If your self-serving Congress were a business they’d all be in jail now,” he said.

“Wake up, America. While you were playing with the toys of your consumer wealth, you lost much more than your bloated economy of living beyond your means. You lost your representative democracy. Your servants have become your masters. Taxation without representation is tyranny,” he said.

He’s equally unhappy with Americans in the first video, embedded here:

In that piece he warns of the problem of supporting the rest of the world while America needs to be rebuilt.

Referring to “progressives,” he said, “We had another word in 1776. We called them traitors.”

Basso is the author of the best-selling book “This Job Should Be Fun” along with 10 other books, including “Lighten Up Corporate America!”

A former award winning news director for NBC TV and visiting professor at UCLA, Basso has a Ph.D in communications.

Doyle’s distinctive repertoire includes former Wall Street insider, TV star and jet pilot. He has starred in many made-for-TV movies, but is best known as the character Michael Garibaldi on the Emmy winning Sci-fi television series “Babylon 5,” which ran for five years.

Lawmakers in New Hampshire are telling the federal government to back off because plans for a federal handgun license, “hate crimes” laws to regulate Christians’ speech about their own religious beliefs on homosexuality, President Obama’s youth corps for mandatory public service and the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” to “balance” talk radio are none of them constitutional. Such plans by the bureaucrats and administrators in Washington, D.C., are “altogether void” and if mandated, “shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States,” the lawmakers are warning.

The terse alarm is contained in House Concurrent Resolution 6, which has been introduced for debate. It affirms states’ rights “based on Jeffersonian principles.” It’s not the first such move in the United States. WND reported last year when state representatives in Oklahoma, steamed over a perceived increase in federal usurping of states’ rights, approved Joint House Resolution 1089 on a 92-3 vote to reassert the state’s sovereignty under the 10th Amendment and serve “notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates.”

According to DailyPaul.com, a website assembled in support of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, Missouri, Washington and Arizona also have moved in the direction of reasserting states’ rights. The Tenth Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people,” and also is being cited in the New Hampshire plan. It states that New Hampshire people “have the sole and exclusive right of governing themselves as a free, sovereign, and independent State; and do, and forever hereafter shall, exercise and enjoy every power, jurisdiction, and right, pertaining thereto, which is not, or may not hereafter be, by them expressly delegated to the United States of America…” That means, the resolution states, any “Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of American or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government … and which serves to diminish the liberty of the any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America.”

It lists as actions that the federal government would be prohibited from doing:

* Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.

* Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.

* Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.

* Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.

* Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.

* Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition.

New Hampshire Rep. Dan Itse, a sponsor of the resolution, said he wants New Hampshire to be among the states “standing up to the federal government, enforcing the Constitution.” He called the current status in the United States, with federal rules and regulations reaching into virtually every facet of a state citizen’s life, “a usurpation by the federal judiciary of the people’s right of self-government.” “What I see happening is a growing disregard for the rights of individuals and the rights of the states. At some point you have to draw the line,” he told WND.

The resolution then, he said, is a warning. “If you’re in a marriage, and things are going rotten, it’s not right just to all of a sudden hand the other party divorce papers. The right thing to do is say, ‘there’s a problem. Let’s go to counseling.’ This is in essence telling the general government if you continue down this road – you will have nullified the Constitution,” he told WND. He said New Hampshire lawmakers already have defied the federal government in approving a ban on the Real ID, a government program to stiffen identity procedures.

The New Hampshire resolution points out that New Hampshire was set up as “a free, sovereign and independent body-politic, or State” and when its residents ratified the U.S. Constitution they recommended: “That it be Explicitly declared that all Powers not expressly & particularly Delegated by the aforesaid are reserved to the several States to be, by them Exercised.” In a direct attack on federal authority the resolution states: “Whensoever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.”

It cites the specific powers given the federal government in the Constitution: to deal with treason, counterfeiting and piracy. At American Thinker, commentator Larrey Anderson wrote that the plan is pending in the legislature’s State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee, and also is supported by Rep. Paul Ingbretson, Rep. Tim Comerford, and Sen. William Denley.

“Interestingly, the authors of the New Hampshire Resolution took most of the language from the document commonly known as ‘Jefferson and Madison’s Kentucky Resolutions of 1798,’” he wrote. “The New Hampshire Resolution boldly defends the state’s (and it citizen’s) rights preserved under the 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution.” He noted a concurrent resolution lacks legal authority as a non-binding expression of the intentions of the legislature. “Nevertheless, these four New Hampshire state legislators have shown much courage by introducing (or reintroducing) these precious principles that have been the bedrock of our republic,” Anderson wrote. “Maybe HCR 6, the shot heard round little old New Hampshire, will inspire more Americans to realize the desperate need to free ourselves from an overreaching federal government. In which case, the shot heard round New Hampshire might become the next shot heard round the world.” Participants in the site’s forum page said they were sending information on the resolution to lawmakers in Virginia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Michigan and other states. Several other participants said they wished their own lawmakers had such fortitude. “At least one state gets it,” said one forum participant. “We must free ourselves of that which I firmly believe wants to enslave us, our own government.”

This time it’s Tom Daschle, the former South Dakota senator and Senate Democratic leader who got knocked off by the Republicans in 2004, shown here demonstrating the size of his tax mistakes over three years.

President Obama had wanted Daschle to be secretary of Health and Human Services and also honcho the administration’s signature healthcare reform out of the White House.

But it turns out Daschle failed to pay $128,000 in taxes over three years in private life when he was getting paid $1 million a year to offer advice to rich people. Good thing Daschle wasn’t nominated to be secretary of the Treasury.

Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be for the top Treasury officer to also make simple, inadvertent, overlooked, accidental, good-faith, ultimately corrected tax mistakes?

Oh, wait that did happen. Timothy Geithner missed paying $43,000 in taxes and didn’t repay some until the Obama transition team insisted. But because it was so accidental and he’s so good with money and numbers, Geithner got confirmed anyway by his party’s Senate. So now he’s lecturing bonused bankers about their outrageous greed.

What do you suppose will happen to Daschle over the revelation, initially by ABC News, that he didn’t pay nearly three times that much money in taxes? His confirmation hearing is yet to be scheduled, but committee records indicate he filed amended returns for 2005, 2006 and 2007 just 29 days ago and has so far paid more than $140,000 in back taxes and interest.

The White House issued a statement late Friday night saying, “The president has confidence” that  Daschle’s the right guy for healthcare reform. Which isn’t the question actually.

Daschle was way too busy to speak Friday, so he sent out his poor spokeswoman, Jenny Backus. She said: “Sen. Daschle is embarrassed and disappointed by these errors.”

Well, as long as he’s embarrassed, it’s probably OK for Daschle to join the administration of the ex-senator from Illinois who’s going to be transparent, not allow a single lobbyist anywhere near power and change the way things are done in Springfield.

No, uh, make that Washington.

The president also said in the interview with FOX News that he’s standing firm on a Feb. 16 deadline for the multi-billion dollar stimulus bill being debated on Capitol Hill, despite growing concerns that package contains too much unnecessary spending.

Daschle’s withdrawal, along with wrangling over the stimulus, made for possibly the rockiest day of Obama’s presidency so far. The president said he will learn from the Daschle debacle.

“I consider this a mistake on my part, one that I intend to fix and correct and make sure that we’re not screwing up again,” Obama said. “Ultimately I have to take responsibility for a process that resulted in us not having a (health and human services) secretary at a time when people need relief on their health care costs.

“So this is a mistake — probably not the first one I’m going to be making in this office, but what I’m absolutely committed to doing is fixing it,” he said.

Obama, who had tapped Daschle to steer a sweeping health care reform effort, said the next order of business is to find another “highly qualified” health and human services secretary.

Obama denied influencing Daschle’s decision to withdraw, which caught a number of senators by surprise Tuesday. Though Daschle caught flak for revelations that he had failed to pay more than $130,000 in taxes, the former Senate majority leader has strong personal ties on Capitol Hill, and several Democrats said they thought he still could have won confirmation.

Obama said the decision was Daschle’s.

“We can’t send a message to the American people that we’ve got two sets of rules — one for prominent people and one for ordinary people,” Obama said, defending his administration’s standards.

Meanwhile, Obama said he’s standing by a Feb. 16 deadline for the economic stimulus package, dismissing much of the criticism in the media and elsewhere about the size of the bill and its contents.

“I think actually that we are closer to getting it right than all these critics,” Obama said. “There is no magic bullet to these situations.”

He stressed that the package, which is tagged at close to $900 billion on the Senate side, boosts unemployment insurance, provides support for people who lost health care and makes investments in green technology and infrastructure that will jolt the economy.

He said the so-called “pet projects” at issue amount to “less than one percent of the entire package.

“This is not going to be a package that makes everybody happy, but the main criteria I have — is it going to put people back to work? And I think it actually will,” he said. “We can’t afford to wait.”

But the bill’s fate was unclear as both Democratic and Republican lawmakers voiced concerns about the way the money would be spent.

Republicans have been honing their opposition to the stimulus, calling on Democrats to make major changes.

Though Obama has reached out to Republican governors who support the plan like Vermont’s Jim Douglas to help make his case, the Republican Governors Association on Tuesday sent around a memo urging members to speak out against wasteful elements of the package.

House Republican Whip Eric Cantor’s press secretary also sent a strategy memo to other press officers pointing out inconsistencies in the bill. It highlighted a Gallup poll Tuesday that found most Americans either reject the stimulus bill or want “major changes” to it.
